Hello guys! After a long two years, I have finally finished and released my new all Guitar Instrumental Progressive Rock Solo Album called "Mother Earth". The idea for the album and the songs came from the problems with global warming and the planet being destroyed by ourselves... I have no intention to preach Green Peace ideas, but I do not deny that I am passionate about these problems. I decided to connect my art with this theme which has to be the most important in the public space.. (I dream it). That is how the name of the album was born. The album is entirely composed, recorded and mixed by me. It contains 11 songs again that are arranged thematically. The album is recorded fully in a software environment, and the only "live" instruments are the guitar and the bass guitar. All the rest are samplers and software synthesizers. For the drums I used EZdrummer® , XLN Audio - Addictive Drums. All the guitars are recorded with software amp simulators, for example: Revalver MK II and Revalver MK3, Aradaz Green and Crunch free ware vst amps, Nick Crow Simple Guitar Combo and Juicy 77 Hi Gain Amp. All the rest of fx used for the mixing come from my Cubase 4, many Voxengo plugins, Schwa Plugins and a lot of free ware plugins. You can download some of my guitar chains-patches in my web site - the sound patches section. Also Very soon I will provide backing tracks to play with. You can purchase the CD from my web site http://nalbantov.com through Pay Pal. After a few weeks it will be available in CD Baby and ItunesSamples at my web site http://www.nalbantov.com. There are also two full songs. http://www.myspace.com/diminalbantovHere are two of the songs for download Full Tracks! http://www.nalbantov.com/rave/media/Mother%20Earth/Dimitar_Nalbantov_Abandoned_%20Place.mp3http://www.nalbantov.com/rave/media/Mother%20Earth/Dimitar_Nalbantov_Shangri_La.mp3I hope you will like the music made by me! With much respect to this great forum for independent musicians , Dimitar

Hey Dimitar, I'm listening to Shangri Li: very impressive stuff! You have a very good mix, and everything comes through perfectly. I love the background rhythm thing you have going (not sure what the instrument it), but it is very faint and you can just hear it enough that it adds nicely to the song. What is that instrument? Very nice solo! You are definitely what everyone here has said: a true talent on the guitar. Oooh, love the break with the acoustic guitar, electric guitar and sounds like bongos? The rhythm guitar is pretty cool too. I agree with Brian: the solos are not overdone or too flashy for flashy sake, but they are certainly amazing! Great job! It amazes me the talent that is out there that sadly most people will never hear I'll listen to more when time permits. Warm Regards, Tim

So nice to hear you liked the album. Yeah the Global Warming is not a problem because of our activity. But I think we are helping the process. Also when I made the album I though the music is abstract Art especially the guitar instrumental style. And people always expect abstractly named titles or something like that. I wanted to give a name and subject, theme for some "real" problem. We have to be more responsible for what is happening out there...I'm not trying to preach It is lost fight... I just thought it would be nice to connect the the well known guitar style with social and human "problem". Jack, glad to hear your got the CD!!! Thank you! Dimi

The Bongos like percussion instrument is Djembe. Turkish folklore instrument Thank you for the kind words! Warm Regards Dimi
